Instructional Designer & Technical Writer

Good technology solves problems. Good documentation prevents them.

About Me

I'm a Technical Writer and Instructional Designer with over 10 years of experience creating content that helps people understand and use complex systems and products. I write user guides, internal documentation, and training materials, and I also produce short educational videos to support product rollouts, troubleshooting workflows, onboarding, and internal training.

I work closely with product managers, engineers, and subject matter experts to turn technical concepts into clear, practical content for both technical and non-technical audiences. My focus is always on clarity, accuracy, and usefulness.

Alongside writing, I've developed SCORM-compliant eLearning modules and created more than 375 video and written assets that improved adoption and reduced support requests. I'm proficient with tools like Confluence, Articulate 360, and Camtasia to create effective learning materials.

I'm currently exploring new opportunities in documentation and enablement. I'm looking for roles where I can apply my skills in transforming complex technical information into clear, engaging content that helps users succeed.

I'm also active in Slack communities like The Enablement Squad and Write the Docs—feel free to reach out there if we're in the same space.

You can explore examples of my technical writing on GitHub.

Outside of work, you'll find me cooking in the kitchen, going to the movies, or attending concerts. My playlist rotates between hip-hop, lofi, alternative, indie rock, and various rap artists. I'm an animal lover with two cats, Hank and Gus, who oversee my home office. I enjoy building small web projects like this one as a creative outlet.
